[behavior in another version] openSUSE 10.3 version does not seems to add "Option "XkbVariant" "basic"" although variant=basic selected in sax2. I think that sax2 in openSUSE 10.3 works right, in openSUSE 11.0 works bad. [workaround] Deleting or commenting out the following line resolves it. If i open /etc/resolve.conf, it's empty. If i manually add the entry for my DNS server, the applet will pick that up if i open it. But once i hit finish, it will write out a new (empty) resolve.conf file. Also, manually adding the entry allows me to browse the net, so this appears to be the only problem. Also, not 100% sure if this is the same issue or not: When i installed from the net-install, i manually entered all these details and they worked fine. It seems it always forgets the current settings. I started after init 3 to be sure, and run sax2 -r -m 0=nvidia. It recognized my card, failed to recognize the display correctly, it said it is 800x600 LCD, altough it is 1600x1080, but the resolution chosen seemed to be correct. I changed the display and the keyboards, saved the settings. When I run again sax2 (now without -r), it switched to 800x600 (looked ugly) and did not used my keyboard, monitor and driver settings. It used the nv driver... Gnome desktop auto install. I have 2 on board AsusTek MCP55 gigabit NICs. eth0 is connected but not configured while eth1 is not connected but configured. I configured eth0 by changing "assign interface to firewall zone" from "no zone..." to "external zone" and rebooted. Under 10.3, Network Settings > Overview shows ASUSTek MCP55 Ethernet DHCP which is eth0 listed above ASUSTek MCP55 Ethernet Not configured while 11.0 B2 the list is reversed.
