It's locking in X. But problem looks like kernel lock. Not X error. CTRL+ALT+F10 has no output when locked. If I log in with root password to gnome, than there is no lock up. But If I log gnome with user account, suse locking randomly. Some times locks up withn first minute, but sometime it not lock up for hours. I tried radeonhd driver and fglrx driver. Nothing changes. I managed to fix the output (speakers) by selecting "pulse" in Skype's configuration options, but no sound is recorded from the microphone. I have added a second panel to the top of my screen and put a 12 workspace Workspace Switcher (and other things) in it. Every time I boot the computer, the workspace switcher has only 4 workspaces and is totally non-functional -- ie. clicking a different workspace has no effect whatsoever. Logging out and logging back in replaces that broken 4 workspace Workspace Switcher with a fully functional 12 workspace Workspace Switcher. Which log files, and configuration files you will find helpful are not immediately apparent to me, but I will poke around on my own today and tommorrow in hopes of figuring out what is actually happening, and add attachments which seem important. (Assuming you don't get to me before then.) I have set up my OS to live in Europe / Stockholm and my clock is not set to UTC. Yesterday I tried to 'force' it to behave by starting the NTP daemon for synchronising the time. Will not run. Ran in terminal mode as both user and root and got this. Hope it helps. Could not find compatible GRE between version 1.9b5 and 1.9b5. The icetea version of java (1.7), tried the 64 bit plugin, won't work perfectly in some java applications yet, say for instance some of pogo's card games for instance.
