It shows a string like: *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* So the user is not able to accept/decline invitations. Steps to reproduce: 1. Have someone invite you to a meeting from Outlook. 2. I took a look in the filemanager and the icons are there but they are no visible. So I clicked on the desktop where the icons should be and than the applications launches. This includes airline boarding passes, online-fax tools, and my local printer/scanner. If you try to save or print a web page (or right click on an image in a page and try to save/print it) Firefox will send a request back to the originating web server for the content instead of using what it has already rendered. The easiest way to reproduce this is if I scan something from my HP All-in-One system and try to save or print it. The scanning process shows the page just fine (which is itself just a jpeg) but if I try to print/save it the scanner starts scanning all over again and eventually hangs (requiring a restart). The resulting saved file will just be ascii text containing "404 Not Found" I'm currently running the latest build: MozillaFirefox-3.0-7.1.i586.rpm mozilla-xulrunner190-1.9.0-14.1.i586.rpm mozilla-xulrunner190-gnomevfs-1.9.0-14.1.i586.rpm MozillaFirefox-debuginfo-3.0-7.1.i586.rpm mozilla-xulrunner190-debuginfo-1.9.0-14.1.i586.rpm I'm using the 32 bit build of Firefox for plugin compatibility. I will attach a traffic dump of what happens after I try to save an already rendered jpeg. But it could go with this one. I run into this with a SuSE 10.3 system and USB disk (WD Elements 500GB). - this disk was bought today, I seen this now and then with another USB disk. (but this time I were going to backup before trying 11.0 RC and it was very consistent!) Nothing works - NumLock dead, magic sysreq, magic sync/unmount/boot. What is worse is that after this happened I could not even plug it in without freezing... Running in failsafe (init 3) did not work either. But killing hald-addon-storage did! # ps aux | grep hald-addon-storage .. hald-addon-storage: polling /dev/sr0 (every 2 sec) .. hald-addon-storage: polling /dev/sdc (every 2 sec) Kill the one polling your device. (The functionallity provided might not be necessary as I got the popup anyway! Kernel support?) Verify that: - A Xen host kernel was booted - The Xen service has been started" with some detailed python exception from virConnectOpenReadOnly (/tmp/livirt_proxy_conn) anyhow - I run the same command as the root user; and bingo life is good.
