Summary: osc build for linked sources does not work
Product: openSUSE.org
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: BuildService
AssignedTo: mls(a)novell.com
ReportedBy: adrian(a)novell.com
QAContact: adrian(a)novell.com
CC: poeml(a)novell.com
I got a report that linked source packages do not yet work with the command
line tool, when you want to build it locally.
I am not sure, how much of the implementation should be server side and which
items should be (re-)implemented in the command line tool. Since the server can
already apply the patches for the build. But the server can not use the local
patches from the user easily ...
Michael, can you state your opinion and reassign to Peter please ?

In the "Software Selection" step the system type label should imo say "KDE4
Desktop" and when selected the "Description" text could give a hint that a KDE3
desktop is still included and can be installed by selecting "Minimal X-Windows"
and the KDE3 pattern in the next step.

This is to track OSDL bz#10491.
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10491
sata_inic162x is there but can't do LBA48 drives nor ATAPI devices properly, so
it's virtually useless.
