All commands are executed so I am sure that switching has worked, ctrl+alt+F7 brings back to GUI terminal normally. Also tried vga=normal boot parameter. (http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/suse/) - Its missing the repodata folder plus its meta-data files (repomd.xml primary.xml.gz other.xml.gz filelists.xml.gz) - it can be generated with the createrepo command I use the smart package manager to do my system updates so can that functionality be restored again in the opensuse factory distribution please. But this is to be confirmed. By the way, the gray little text reminding the menu path (in the attached png "Système>Configuration"), should not disappear when one scrolls down the menu. I am trying OpenSuse 11.0 because you are the only distribution offering KDE4.2. It is already quite impressive! There fore it is not possible to use booklet printing together with short edge duplex printing. The orientation combo box is not missing in the original download version from OpenOffice.org, so it seems to be missing because off a change in the openSuSE (Novell) Edition. In the attachment you can see the result of booklet printing. The pages are arranged in the wrong direction, and it is not possible to fold the pages for the booklet correctly. It waits approximately 1 minute (not a random time) after or while reading repository data. This is true for repomd files as well as for content and media files.
