Ok, I go the original report and... Access Denied You are not authorized to access bug #188543. And now I am deaf and blind -- I cannot see the resolution of this report, is it fixed, set as invalid, etc. The current reporting/privileges thing has a flaw since it is really hard to cooperate on wishes/bugs/crashes/and so on. Also applets added to the toolbar open on :0 and not the assigned DISPLAY. CONTROL CENTER in COMPUTER menu, also opens on :0 and not the assigned DISPLAY; some application such as Firefox open correctly, but they can only be executed from the Favorite Applications panel. With RUNLEVEL 3, all apps/applets behave as expected. Installed Novell GroupWise 7 SP1 client. GroupWise starts, but the lefthand tree menu only displays a few of the items. The "superuser" konsole (as provided by the KDE menu System->Terminals) won't react to the window close button. However, after some time a requester appears stating that the program running in this window doesn't react any more, and if I want to close the window nevertheless? This is, the same requester which appears when trying to close windows of crashed programmes. German error message: "Das in Konsole laufende Programm antwortet nicht auf die Anforderung zum Beenden. Möchten Sie Konsole dennoch beenden?" There is sometimes an additional requester after some time (don't know why) claiming: "Fenster mit dem Titel "Befehlsfenster (Systemverwaltungsmodus) - Konsole" reagiert nicht. If it does not, try http://puzzle.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/gimp-print/gutenprint-5.0.0.ta… or choose a different mirror" If I klick on the link mentioned in above notice before the popup window that would show up automatically shows up a 2nd download window will open. The same difference exists for supplying a core file on the command line respectively when loading it via ddd's menu file/open core dump. The bt command works like expected already at the first invocation when directly using gdb (i. e. substitute ddd with gdb in the above command), so I think this is an issue of ddd.
