In fact the net/atm directory is completely absent. In particular this makes it impossible to network the machine using PPPoATM ADSL because the pppoatm module is missing. Only the bridge device should have IP assigned. Any other configuration will produce somewhat odd results.") the configuration the XEN scripts produce is illegal. When I let the bonding device configured, but tell XEN to only use one of the enslaved devices, xend shuts down the bonding devices during startup, naturally leading to "no network". In that case I have a "peth0" interface corresponding to the previous "eth0", but in the case of using the bonding device, I do not see a "pbond0" device. There are two other instances where vga_set_palette is called: 1. During Xorg startup: console_callback, vt.c change_console complete_change_console, vt_ioctl.c switch_screen(x) -> redraw_screen(x, 1) set_palette vgacon_set_palette vga_set_palette 2. When the blanked console comes back on following an input event: console_callback, vt.c poke_blanked_console, vt.c do_unblank_screen, vt.c vgacon_blank vga_set_palette What version of openSUSE and Xorg worked with this hardware combination before? Also, if I replace radeon with vga in xorg.conf, the machine panics when Xorg starts up. I have a HP pavilion 5200 with a Intel wireless card (ipw3945); the card can be disabled with a button on the case, I don't know what the button does exactly but it works. Anyway if when I turn down the laptop I leave the card turned OFF the I cannot turn it on anymore: the boot process hang forever (I have tried waiting about 10 minutes) at "activating device mapper..."; furthermore the hardware button is not active until a later stage of the boot process (so no chance to trick it). Luckily I have a w* partition so I am able to recover when it happens, booting to the other operating system, activating the card and rebooting. I can do any test if needed. The tool icon is an indicator of what tool you have selected, and I imagine it's purposefully offset from the pointer so as not to obscure your work unduly. It's a bad idea to have the pointer covering too many pixels near the hot spot. I'm not sure whether Ulrich is seeing the same thing (though Bryan's picture doesn't seem to show a gap of anywhere near 50 pixels); it may also be that it's fixed in more recent packages. In the former case, this bug would be INVALID or WORKSFORME. In the latter, it's FIXED, though not for 10.0 specifically. If running under KDE, khelpcenter will be used instead of yelp. Steps to reproduce: * Install gnucash and gnucash-docs * Log in to KDE * Start gnucash * Press F1 Result: Not yelp, but khelpcenter will start up and try to open the help file. (It doesn't actually work because of a missing DocPath in the .desktop file, but that's not what this bug is about.) Suggested solution: Don't make gnucash-docs.rpm require yelp. It is not needed. Note: I think that all such dependencies on yelp are false.
