When the fingerprint reader is enabled (via a proprietary driver plus various PAM configuration), it works pretty well. The main issue is that kdesu requires two finger swipes every time it prompts you. Default xflock4 contents is: ---------------------------------- xscreensaver-command -lock || xlock $* exit 0 ---------------------------------- But I want to use gnome-screensaver instead if xscreensaver, so I modified it like this: ---------------------------------- gnome-screensaver-command --lock || xscreensaver-command -lock || xlock $* exit 0 ---------------------------------- It seems there is no other way to specify lock action after clicking the "Lock screen" button besides editing xflock4 file. Problem is, when I update XFCE to newer version, /usr/bin/xflock4 is overwritten to default state and I must edit it again. This is fine in English, but the Hungarian language use it another way, like this: 1. monitor, 2. monitor. I checked the po file and there is no variables for numbering in the "Monitor" messages.
