However the /etc/syconfig/network/ifcfg-dsl* PPPD_OPTIONS='' parameter is blank allowing for the idle 600 parameter in /etc/ppp/options to be the default causing the connection to drop after 10 minutes. This should be commented in the default ppp/options file or the IDLETIME parameter of the provider should pass 'idle 0' to pppd. I'm also not sure whether this failed assertion has anything to do with the main window disappearance. But, because of the ipw3945d regulatory daemon, the way we unload modules with rmmod(8) fails for the ipw3945 because the ipw3945d daemon is only killed when `modprobe -r` is used. I use "s2ram -f -a 1" which works fine from X and a text terminal, both with and without the framebuffer. #s2ram -n Machine is unknown.
