But since the xorg-x11-server-6.9.0-50.17 update SL-10.1 update the machine crashes during the start of X11. This bug is in OSS-10.2Alpha5, two. I see there no error logs from the kernel crash (console on ttyS) and no errors logged by the xserver (-verbose 9). This can be found in the SUSE 10.2 or in the packages provided in KDE:/Backports for 10.1/. The recent online distribution in 4 New updates updated YAST2 online update. YAST updates and displayed YAST will close and restart after that process ZMD still indicates the are updates, however there cannot be installed by On-line update. I believe, though, that the permissions problem is actually just a result of the fact that I can't access the Global Address List. When I click on Global Address List in Evolution's Contacts window, I get an error popup saying "Error loading addressbook. We were unable to open this addressbook. This either means you have entered an incorrect URI or the server is unreachable." >From tcpdump and the server logs, we can see that Evolution does, in fact, communicate with the server and authenticate successfully, but I still don't get access. Is there any debugging output on my end that I can check for clues? Tagged as an KDE-thing for that matter. When you switch to another session, the music from the old session keeps playing. In a system with more then 1 user that can be very annoying. I play music with some louder beats and if my mom wants to work she likes Mozart (theoretical situation cause I live on my own ;-) ). Sound of session 1 should be muted when in session 2. Mozart mixed with Tiesto is not what I use to call music. Don't know if there should be an option to mute it when locking the session but I guess that is not needed. I always lock the PC when I walk away but music may still play.
