With smart I can use a specific version like this: smart install kernel-source-2.6.22.5-31. How do I achieve the same with zypper/yast2? Even if this is really a usage / support question which does not belong into this development forum:
In the YaST package selector, use the "Versions" tab on the bottom right to select a specific version> .
in zypper just specify name-x.y.z instead of name
This does not work yet. Maybe somewhere it the future. Currently 'zypper install --capability name=x.y.z' can be used. --capability will be the default as soon as we solve some problems with it, so it will be sufficient to write 'zypper install name=x.y.z'.
