[opensuse-wiki] Request for Portuguese Localized Wiki
Hi, All the pages from the basic set are translated, plus a few more. Also, some new people will soon come to help maintain and improve the number of pages translated to portuguese. Given this, I am requesting that the Portuguese (PT) wiki be created. Sorry for cutting in here, in reality both languages have similar roots but they differ a lot when it comes to terminology and some grammatical structures... something published in either of those locales (Portugal and/or Brazil) cannot be used interchangeably, especially when it comes to the IT industry... these languages have evolved differently when it comes to usage and terminology. I believe that we may want to have both: national PT, and Brazilian PT. thanks, Arturo

sure, but as long i have no pt-br pages and a maintainer i will only setup pt (when it's really pt what Hugo meant). I also agree with Arturo Aguilar, that the languages are different enough to justify the existence of both wikis. The difference is not easy for someone that doesn't speak any of the two, but for a portuguese and for a brazillian, it is rather strange to read brazillian or portuguese respectively. It also shows more professionality on the wiki to distinguish both. I am requesting a wiki for portuguese (PT), not brazillian portuguese. I will soon reply to Martin's e-mail.
