Hello,
My configuration is uyuni server last version.
I would like limit the bandwidth 5 Mbps for example when i launch a sync
channel.
If it is possible, please explain me the different steps to have the
result.
Thanks.
Regards
Richard
Hello
I've been looking at the content lifecycle manager but would quite like to be able to script the promotion of builds from the CLI rather than interactively using the GUI
Is this possible?
If not is it in the roadmap?
Many thanks

Hi all,
I am updating our Uyuni platform from 2021.08 to 2021.12, all good for the Uyuni server, but I have noticed that 2 packages are not updated on our Uyuni proxies:
1. "python3-pyvmomi" because of a Vendor change:
# zypper update python3-pyvmomi
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
There is an update candidate for 'python3-pyvmomi' from vendor 'SUSE LLC https://www.suse.com/', while the current vendor is 'obs://build.opensuse.org/systemsmanagement:Uyuni'. Use 'zypper install python3-pyvmomi-6.7.3-3.2.1.noarch' to install this candidate.
Resolving package dependencies...
Nothing to do.
Do I have to update by changing the vendor for this package ?
1. "susemanager-tftpsync-recv" because seems that tftp is not installed:
# zypper update susemanager-tftpsync-recv
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
Resolving package dependencies...
Problem: the to be installed susemanager-tftpsync-recv-4.3.4-1.1.uyuni1.noarch requires 'tftp', but this requirement cannot be provided
not installable providers: tftp-5.2-5.3.1.x86_64[susemanager:opensuse_leap15_3-x86_64]
Solution 1: deinstallation of atftp-0.7.2-lp153.2.1.x86_64
Solution 2: do not install susemanager-tftpsync-recv-4.3.4-1.1.uyuni1.noarch
Solution 3: break susemanager-tftpsync-recv-4.3.4-1.1.uyuni1.noarch by ignoring some of its dependencies
Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/3/c/d/?] (c): c
Somebody already had this issue ?
Regards,
Philippe.

Hi
How can I automate regular refreshes of the /etc/yum.repos.d/susemanager:channels.repo file for EL systems?
I've looked through the spacecmd reference document<https://documentation.suse.com/external-tree/en-us/suma/3.2/susemanager-adv…>, but can't spot anything that does this, although it's possible I'm just not spotting the obvious.
Thanks
Reasoning: On a few machines now, this file has been empty of anything but the initial comments, leading to machines not being updated since they can't see any repos. I can get Uyuni to send a fresh copy just by changing any of the Software channels through the webui and that always fixes it, but want to force this periodically with a script.
I don't know why some machines have this issue and not others. I'm presuming it's a bug in Uyuni, rather than any local activity truncating it.

Hello,
I have on server with 2 IP adresses on one interface and salt-minion
refuse to start.
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/salt/grains/core.py", line 2378,
in ip6_interfaces
socket.inet_pton(socket.AF_INET6, secondary["address"])
error: illegal IP address string passed to inet_pton
Because is my only server with this issue, I just comment that line to
run the minion, but not very happy about this solution.
I found this recomandation on SUSE site:
https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000020527. Exist some update for
Uyuni 2021.12 stable ?

Hello,
I'm wondering if it is possible to schedule a patch installation for a system or a system group, for example every friday at 11PM, in Uyuni.
I've tried several things without success, and I'm kind of lost...

Paul
