Hi Hans! I've done more Google research and other replies have already come in, so I've fixed the problem. Thanks a lot, though! Hope all is well over there. regards, Carl --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thanks Basil! Let me guess... the new lists are 'out of sync' and I got your direct reply before the list reply showed up? I do appreciate the help... all is back in order here. regards, Carl --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Just as my reply was going out, the ADSL connection went down and I didn't know if the post got out. So I sent a second copy of original to this list - but it didn't "bounce" back to me from this list. As well, neither post showed up in the archive of this list so I knew that the messages didn't get thru which is when I decided to post it direct to you because I know what's it like to be in trouble and waiting for a possible solution from the list. Cheers. -- If you really want to know, you won't ask me. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,user,sync 0 0

In my fstab, running 64bit 10.1, I have /dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto, user, sync 0 0 all on one line of course, and identical to your second option. My debugfs line is identical to the one above.. i have no entry equivalent to your none Mike -- Michael A. Thanks Mike! This helps confirm the fix I implemented earlier. Carl --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
