Have a look on the card and see if it has got a BrookTree chip on it. You'd better hope that it has, because only TV cards with a BrookTree chip will work under Linux, as far as I know (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). If this is the case you're out of luck. Sorry, Chris -- Apologies to everyone who has been waiting for replies off me over the past few weeks - I've been away from my computer. I'll try to catch up with my email over the coming days, but don't be surprised if you get a reply in a month's time... __ _ -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Chris Reeves /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ICQ# 22219005 _\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

As far as 2.2.X kernels are involved, this is true. The 2.3.X kernels also
have support for the Zoran Chip.
