where can i find the linux installation software for the magic tview cph051 tv/radio pci card ?
i have checked on magicxpress' site but they only feature the drivers for windoze that are included on the cd.
i have suse 6.2. i have tried several video players but none of them finds the card.
i tried installing bttv but it cannot compile with kernel 2.2.x+.
if anyone can help me with getting this thing to run under x, please mail me.
Have a look on the card and see if it has got a BrookTree chip on it. You'd better hope that it has, because only TV cards with a BrookTree chip will work under Linux, as far as I know (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). If this is the case you're out of luck. Sorry, Chris -- Apologies to everyone who has been waiting for replies off me over the past few weeks - I've been away from my computer.
