[opensuse] 10.3 Howto get ENE Technology Inc CB-710 Card Reader Working?
Listmates,
On my laptop, I have an ENE Technology Inc CB-710 Card Reader that I
cannot get to work. I have googled a little without much success. I have
found kai's TI controller posts and responses, but all reference
experimental patches. Is that still the case?

I have a card reader on my laptop and have never got it to work (even in windows!). The solution for me was to get (for dirt cheap) a USB device that takes the memory cards in a slot and plugs into a usb slot and makes the whole thing look like a usb drive. wcn David C. Rankin wrote:

Thanks Wendell, Windows works fine with the sd mmc stick up to 1G, beyond that, my card reader doesn't work. So I just stuck the stick in a cheap Kodak camera and plugged the usb cable into the usb slot and it did just as you said. Now I can finally see the 87M of an autopsy video from a recent case -- Oh joy.... -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
