[opensuse] Yast software
Hi everyone I installed the email client Mutt earlier, but it was compiled without the smtp option enabled. Is there to specify compile options in Yast before it installs programs, like Mutt? Or perhaps there's a way i can recompile the program after it's been installed to enable the options is need if they're not there? I assume the only option would be to install from source myself? If anyone could give some advice i'd be grateful. Jamie -- Public Key: 44D5FD1A 2008-03-29 [expires: 2011-03-29] Key fingerprint = 8458 5824 FEC4 16BE C982 808E F20F DBCD 44D5 FD1A

true, on *most* default installed openSUSE systems smtp is provided via postfix. Include in your ~/.muttrc, set sendmail="/usr/lib/sendmail -oi -oem"

not that I know of

get the src.rpm and extract, recompile mutt enabling smtp, rebuild the rpm.

better recompling the src better yet, using what is already available :^) -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
