Installing kompare on opensuse 10.0
Hi: I'd like to Install kompare on opensuse 10.0. This page: http://www.novell.com/products/linuxpackages/professional/kdesdk3.html seems to indicate that kompare is part of the 'kdesdk3' package, but I can't find it (or kompare by itself) in YAST. TIA, Robert

Well, this picture is taken from YaST Software Management in the 10.0 boxed set, note the marks I added: http://home.kpnplanet.nl/~shiems@kpnplanet.nl/yast.png If it's not in OpenSuse then one of the places it can be downloaded from would be here: http://www.novell.com/linux/download/linuks/i386/update_for_10_0/extra.html

I believe you ;)

Thanks for the link! Very helpful, especially since I had not found that page after searching for several hours. Obviously I still have a lot to learn about SUSE package management. In the case of kdesdk3, I was able to grab it with YAST after I added the extra repositories specified in this article: Hacking OpenSUSE by Jem Matzan http://www.thejemreport.com/mambo/content/view/178/42/ Thanks for your reply.
