Thanks to Carlos for confirming the problem to be local. But I need to know where to look on my local system. It is composed of few 9.1 hosts, linksys router and cable modem. I use webmail exclusively for email. Thanks for anything further -- johnp

I don't know. We'd have to know the exact setup. A typical thing to look at would be procmail. Another could be fetchmail. Check mail logs everywhere. Track a single email, follow its path.
I use webmail exclusively for email.
