<grin> How about a pair of 2.2 Terabyte servers? This is for my home system, by the way... (yes, really!).
None of my business I know. Just curious. What in the world do you do with a home system like that??! Jerome
A number of things, actually, but the storage situation is driven by our having gone 100% digital for music and video last year. The stereos and TVs are all wired into computers. 2 PVRs, cable channel modulator, etc. for vid, and everything from LPs and VHS tapes onward read into MP3s and Mpegs. Took me the majority of a year to get everything converted and configured, but I must say it was worth it.
Mike-
Very nice. I'm doing something simular on a much smaller scale. One TV, one stereo, no PVR yet (I had to google PVR), no cable channel modulator. I've got about 300 jazz albums I want to digitize, eventually. But you know if I had you're system I wouldn't backup everything very often. Still it's nice to know somebody does. Enjoy! Jerome
