[S.u.S.E. Linux] Re: failed delivery
I have gotten a bunch of these, as I am sure anyone else who has made a post in the last 24 hours also has. Can we do anything about this user, it's either a bad address or his quota does not allow him to recieve the kind of traffic a mailing list produces. MAILER-DAEMON@rocketmail.com wrote:

Run "./configure" and before you "make" read the Makefile and make sure it is pointing toward /usr/X11R6/include. Check around line 73 of your master Makefile, it should be something like "XCFLAGS = -I/usr/X11R6/include". Make sure you have libXpm installed, that is crucial for WindowMaker. I think it can be found on sunsite. Good luck, WindowMaker takes a little more work to configure, but I think you'll find the rewards are worth the effort.

i had it happen to me too. i imagine it's because the account has been closed, so i think it would be up to bodo bauer or james gray to take this guy off the list. of course, i could be wrong.

I have been receiving the bounced email as well. Is this happening to everyone posting messages to "suse-linux-e@suse.com"? I looked at the headers on the bounced mail and the only "To" line in the mail I sent was "suse-linux-e@suse.com" I don't understand why the bounced mail is coming back to us i.e. folks posting to the mailing list. SuSE folks: Please help us understand what the problem is. Thx, arun khan -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
I wrote rocketmail with no response. Perhaps the person can be unsubscribed. The list is not affected, only people making posts are recieving these notices. Arun K. Khan wrote:

I got a question from a person who's interested in buying 5.2 about aic7890. Is it supported? I can't see it, even in /usr/src/linx/drivers/scsi/README.aix7xxx there's no mention. Only 788x and 7895. How come? -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

The situation, which is common on all mailing lists, is that some site receives
a message from the suse list addressed to a user who has delivery problems
(mailbox full, unknown user, cannot connect to relaying host ... ). The
mail-distribution software at that site then mails back an error message.
