i had it happen to me too. i imagine it's because the account has been

closed, so i think it would be up to bodo bauer or james gray to take this guy off the list. of course, i could be wrong.

I have been receiving the bounced email as well. Is this happening to everyone posting messages to "suse-linux-e@suse.com"? I looked at the headers on the bounced mail and the only "To" line in the mail I sent was "suse-linux-e@suse.com" I don't understand why the bounced mail is coming back to us i.e. folks posting to the mailing list. The situation, which is common on all mailing lists, is that some site receives a message from the suse list addressed to a user who has delivery problems (mailbox full, unknown user, cannot connect to relaying host ... ). The mail-distribution software at that site then mails back an error message. In the case of your message, Arun, you have headers: Reply-To: suse-linux-e@suse.com Sender: owner-suse-linux-e@suse.com From: "Arun K. Khan" (which is as it should be). Some sites only mail back to "Sender", so the suse-linux-e owner gets it and no-one else. This is also as it should be. Some sites only mail back to "From", so you get it, and no-one else. This is NOT as it should be (the list-owner is then unaware of the bounce and can do nothing about it), The worst sites mail the error-message back to the list (the "Reply-To") ... Some sites mail back to "Sender" and to "From", which is OK though possibly irritating to "From" who is not in a position to do much about it: only the list owner can really deal with the situation, by ultimately deleting the offending user from the list if the problem persists. However, one action you can take is to mail a complaint to postmaster@site.generating.bounce and/or root@offending.host and whoever that is may feel moved to correct the situation at their end.
