Excuse my asking, and sorry if this has been discussed before, but why Portuguese isn't considered tier 1, while Czech is?
According to Wikipedia, there are over 220 milion Portuguese speakers (South America, Europe, Africa and Asia), 186 milion only in Brazil, while Czech has only 12 milion (Central Europe only).
We're still waiting for this year's census, but I think SUSE is ranked #3 or #4 in number of users Brazil.
What are the implications of not having Portuguese as tier 1?

Heh.... we all want to include own languages in tier 1 ;)
That's the problem ;-)
i may ask same question about russian language..
That's why we did the extra CD so that it's clear which CDs you need for which language and get all support packages. It's actually better for russian with the extra CD - with 10.1 I got a report that the russian OpenOffice_org package is missing on the CDs. Now this package - together with most other russian packages is on the extra language CD and you get it, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
