I have not been able to find my 9.2 dvd an need to get the rsync off of it to install on my production server. I thought I had updated it to 9.3 but nope its still at 9.2. I do not plan to upgrade this production server for few weeks an want to get rsync going on it for now. thanks to anyone still having 9.2 laying around an can send it an all files needed by it. jack
Grab the 9.3 rpm from a mirror, it should work. On Wed, 2005-10-19 at 15:24 -0500, Jack Malone wrote:

I have done this an now I get this: libslp.so.1 is needed by rsync-2.6.3pre1-2.3. I could not find this in the suse 9.2 archives. jack

Why not add it as a YaST source? type: http server: ftp4.gwdg.de directory: pub/suse/i386/9.2 That way it will sort out the dependencies for you. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998
