Has anyone had any success in getting the Kodak DX7590 to work in digiKam in 10.0? This camera worked when I was using 9.2. Jimmy

I installed gphoto but the result is the same. digiKam sees the camera, autodetects it as DX7590 and is communicating at some level because it downloads icons the photo filenames. It shows a generic camera icon rather than the thumbnails and will not download any photos to the computer. Konqueror cannot fully communicate with the camera either, although it sees it a storage device. I checked for bugs at the gphoto site, someone with a similar Kodak reported a bug but the response was a issue related to USB. I'm thinking that may be the problem, as well. When I originally set up the camera on 9.2 it would autodetect it as a USB PTP camera but added an address to the USB port that would sequence up every time I reattached the camera, requiring me to do another autodetect. Finally I just manually assigned it as a USB PTP camera and never had another problem. In 10.0 assigning maually assigning it as either DX7590 or USB PTP doesn't work. There is no communication at all in digiKam. Jimmy
