I do not plan to upgrade this production server for few weeks an want to get rsync going on it for now. thanks to anyone still having 9.2 laying around an can send it an all files needed by it.

Why not just download from the ftp server at ftp://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub/suse/i386/9.2/
I have done this an now I get this: libslp.so.1 is needed by rsync-2.6.3pre1-2.3. I could not find this in the suse 9.2 archives.

Why not add it as a YaST source? type: http server: ftp4.gwdg.de directory: pub/suse/i386/9.2 That way it will sort out the dependencies for you. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998
