Just ignore it, Gunnar. The guys at SuSE say that all of your problems with KDE 4 are merely a figment of your imagination, and you're just trolling, anyways, because you don't like SUSE or KDE. Not at all. The only troll here is you. You will note that Gunnar presented a specific problem that can be dealt with. Of course, it's a KDE3 problem, not KDE4, so your point is somewhat moot Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, of course. Addressing muddle-headed decisions is "trolling"...because you just wish the issue would "go away" rather than dealing with it in a forthright and proper manner. You were warned that this KDE 4 thing would bite SUSE in the ass, but did any of you pay attention? Nope! Everyone at SUSE basically told the User base to go screw themselves -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I have used Suse since version 7.2 and I use KDE, I have tried Gnome, but ends up with KDE. So I can say that I like both Suse and KDE(3), KDE4 need more time, but I use KDE4, and I must admit, I like it. In your home directory there is a file called .DCOPserver_something. What is the contents of it? Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thats the problem, I cant find any .DCOPserver in my home dir. And I know that I have a strange host name, how can I fix that. The strange host name came when I installed Opensuse 11.0 from livecd with KDE4. What can I do with this "thing" Gunnar -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

It looks like your host name is )*, is that really correct? Your problem here has nothing specifically to do with KDE4, it's "outside of KDE3" in general, it simply looks like it can't parse your .DCOPserver file. Probably because of your strange host name Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
