No, not really - you can look at the bug reports yourself, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

Could you please specify at which URLs you are looking at? Are you comparing Factory with CDs? 10.1 CD ISOs and the 10.1 FTP tree contain the same glibc -- I'v just verified this: SUSE-Linux-10.1-RC5-FTP/CD1/suse/i586/glibc-2.4-25.i586.rpm vs. SUSE-Linux-10.1-RC5-i386/CD1/suse/i586/glibc-2.4-25.i586.rpm Regards Christoph

Christoph, My CD's from RC3 -> GM via delta's have glibc (i686) 2.4-28 I added the heanet mirror as a service: 3 | Active | ZYPP | SUSE-10.1-Inst-Src | http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/ftp.opensuse.org/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/... it has glibc (i686) 2.4-31 http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/ftp.opensuse.org/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/... Cheers G

Right -- so, the i686 glibc's are different, that's correct. Looks like we had a rebuild after mastering the CD ISOs. I'll ping the Autobuild team for more details. Regards Christoph

In case it matters, Berkeley db seems to be a different build as well, 4.3.29-14 on the CD images, 4.3.29-15 available on the inst-source mirrors Cheers G
