Hi everyone. I have SuSE linux 6.2 installed on my system, and wanted to upgrade to 6.3 or 6.4. I read in the manual that you can upgrade the base system with yast. Has anyone tried this, and was it successful? I would be upgrading via ftp. Yes you can, but you can't upgrade the base system while it is running. What you should do is download the bootdisk for the version you want to upgrade to, boot with it, then when Yast comes up take it from there. cll -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
