Thanks Peter, I wish this wasn't the case :( I will be dual booting this box between XP and SuSE 8.2, I really needed those USB devices operational.... Yes I have seen some flakyness with how .2 deals with USB. I have had some success by disabling the USB in the motherboard bios settings.
