How to stop Konqueror window when media inserted
Hi: I modified my /etc/fstab to not use subfs for the CD-R drive (see below). For some reason, every time I stick in a CD, a Konqueror window appears. The CD isn't mounted automatically, of course, but the Konq. window just appears. It also appears after a CD burn, once the drive is reset. Annoying. How to make it stop? What is causing it? In the applet area of your KDE taskbar (lower right hand corner of your screen), there should be an icon for "SuSE Hardware Tool" (suseplugger). Right-click on it and select "Configure...". You'll find that it's set up to invoke kfmclient when CD media is detected. Blank out the that field, click "OK", then konqueror will no longer start automatically. -Ti
