Newbie question about enabling graphical enterprise
I just installed SuSE Enterprise 8.1. But the when I reboot I get the line mode. Yast2 is not graphical enterprise. As far as I think that I have chosen all the packages. Where am I going wrong? Many thanks Sujit
Well, I assume you want to boot into a graphical environment and instead you
are booting into the command line. Goto your /etc/inittab file and see if you
have a line that says:
id:3:initdefault:
Edit that line to say:
id:5:initdefault:
That should do it. Now from the command line type:
init 5 <enter>
You should boot into a graphical environment.
