I just upgraded from Red Hat 8.0 to SUSE 8.1 and all is fine and all my hardware was recognized flawlessly except that I can only Telnet to the box using SecureCRT. Also I can not reach the web server on that system. Additionally, VNC works but when I VNC into the system I get a simple x-session not the KDE or GNOME session I got under Red Hat. I searched the SUSE database and found a mention that SUSE has access turned off by default but the instructions to turn it back on were not accurate. I would like to be able to get to the web server and use normal telnet sessions in addition to being able to have VNC work the way it did under Red Hat. Thanks in Advance for any help with this.
