and again: If we make the 2 DVDs modular the current user's needs will still be addressed, plus adding needs of many new users around. That is, the first DVD will contain all the needed things to get you up & running. speaking of penalties: The mirrors live up with Debian with their 240+ CDs, so if we add an extra DVD, but remove the 6 CDs for x86-64 we won't lose mirrors. Again, all 64-bit systems are equipped with DVD.
