I just noticed now (did not need it for a couple of years) that Leap 15 does not offer to encrypt the home partition of a new user.
In updated release notes of Leap 15.0 I read that individual encrypted home directories are no longer supported because the packet to do that is no longer supported.
Thanks for the clarification. Out of curiosity, I checked the release notes again and I could not find anything. Do you mind pointing it out? I'm not disputing what you said, but it would be nice to have a reference for this change, so I can track the package in case it is developed again.
I do the translation of openSUSE stuff to Dutch in Weblate and came across this information there. See
https://l10n.opensuse.org/projects/release-notes-opensuse/leap-15_0/
It is not possible to see the file there, only a list of translations with percents. I can click on a language, then perhaps on "all strings", and then I can see strings one by one. Click on the arrow to see the next one. Down the page I can see something like seven strings. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.3 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)
