Ok, I have installed LXDE through Yast. How do I now switch over to using LXDE instead of KDE? And how do I set it up so that when the system boots up it loads LXDE instead of KDE?
At the login page, click on Session Type (bottom left) and you will see a list of installed window managers. You will notice KDE has a (previous) flag beside it. Select LXDE and login. From then on, the (previous) flag will be on LXDE and you will always go into it, if you don't do anything. Don't forget to adjust the new desktop to your liking in openSUSE/Settings/Settings/Settings Manager. -- Carlos F Lange -- Recursive: Adj.
