Ok ... I'm going to throw my Exchange server into the lake ... I just came across a nasty bug and Microsoft's solution is ... "buy the upgrade" Buy the upgrade to fix a bug my a$$ What Linux-based e-mail package would be a good replacement for MS Exchange Server? (I can see it now ... you all reply "ANY package is better than Exchange!"... but I need product names please! ;-)
In the commercial side, you have at least SuSE Email Server III (you can find more info about it in SuSE site). There are more, including one from HP, and I think that Domino exist for Linux also (not sure if it counts as mail server :) If you only want a smtp/pop/imap server, installing most linux distributions out there will be enough, as nearly all have good servers for all this services included.
