Download the file vmware-host-modules-w16.2.1-k5.16.zip, from
https://github.com/mkubecek/vmware-host-modules/tags
Then,
1. mkdir /tmp/foo
2, cd /tmp/foo
3. unzip w16.2.1-k5.16.zip in /tmp/foo directory
4. cd vmware-host-modules-w16.2.1-k5.16
5.
$ make
6.
$ tar -cf vmmon.tar vmmon-only
and
$ tar -cf vmnet.tar vmnet-only
7.
$ sudo rm -f /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/*.tar
$ sudo mv *.tar /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source
8
$ sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all
That's all.
Regards, & Good Night
