Okay, here's the situation
The computer in the other room has its My Documents folder shared (//POMMYMOMMY/My Documents). It's running Windows XP. How do I connect to that folder on my Linux machine. Do I need to set up a network on the XP machine or what?
I found out that there are some problems with SuSE's firewall, which prevent SuSE clients to browse very well windows networks (mostly XP). What I found out to be easiest way to access them, was just to know the IP name of the machine, and then from konqueror: smb:/serverip/sharename It will ask you for user/pass if you did not set it up beforehand in YaST. Not as convenient, but works for me. Cheers -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny)
