Here's one question I've always had - I have WinXP on one of my home machines... On it I have VMWare. Under VMWare, I made a "clone" drive of my main bootable system that I use to sandbox new software before I decide whether it's good or bad... I wonder how Microsoft looks at that :) The same copy of Windows, running a second time, on the same PC.
I'd bet they would say it's illegal as you didn't purchase the second copy for the 'second' computer. Or the 'second' computer didn't come with windows pre-installed. Boy, I can just hear the legal team now. It's the same computer.. No, it's a different computer. No, it's the same computer, but a different bios.
