Hello list members:
This is not a suse rather a linux specific issue. I have a pdf file in which the sizes of the pages are half of an A4. So two of tese pages would fit one A4 page, one below the other. Is there a GUI program or frontend to the different ps programs that I could use for convertig my file to a ps or pdf like this? I have no iniciative to learn the console programs with their zillion options. I've already tried kpdf with kprint with turning on the "pages per sheet 2" option but it organized the pages wrongly (beside each other).
First of all get the package psutils, then at the command line type this in: pstops -b -q 2:-1L@1\(21cm,0\)+0L@1\(21cm,14.85cm\) XX.ps YY.ps This command will take two A5 size pages turn them and place them side by side. It will also correctly put the first page with the last page, for example my 20 page bulletin has pages 1 & 20 , then 2&19 etc. If you want to cut down A4 size pages to make two on one page change @1\(21cm,0\) to: @.7\(21cm,0\) If you are using US letter size paper you will need to play with the size and placement.
