Are you serious???? (looking longingly at the C64 in the corner...)

If you can jury-rigged a RS-232 serial cable and have terminal emulation software, any device can be used to access the linux console on the serial port. The problem with the Commodore 64 is the 40x24 display. Although there are some software tricks from yesteryear that would make a C64 display 80x48 in black and white. ;)

it is 40x25 and novaterm supports stable 80x25 on ansi emulation i think this would be enough. -- *º¤., ¸¸,.¤º*¨¨¨*¤Oliver@home*º¤., ¸¸,.¤º*¨¨*¤ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
