The dvi2ps (which converts TeX .dvi files to postscript .ps files) is in the package lpdfilter for SuSE 9.3: http://www.novell.com/products/linuxpackages/professional/lpdfilter.html But if you have cups, you can not install lpdfilter because it conficts with cups, cups-SUSE-ppds-dat, and cups-drivers-stp. According to yast2. So what is a cups user to do if he wants to send a .ps file to some one with a postscript printer (via email perhaps), if he has a .dvi file? -- Paul Elliott 1(512)837-1096 pelliott@io.com PMB 181, 11900 Metric Blvd Suite J http://www.io.com/~pelliott/pme/ Austin TX 78758-3117
