Since updating to 42.3, I find Konqueror no longer opens to my home directory. I was finally able to get it to the point where it opens to a blank screen, but I still have to click on the home button, to show my home directory? Is there any way to fix this, so that it works properly? It appears Konqueror is not starting in file manager mode. The command to start it is "kfmclient openProfile filemanagement", but it doesn't start as file manager. See this forums thread, read wolfi323's reply https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/526161-Konqueror-not-working-as-f...
Chanching the command to kfmclient openURL did the trick. However, it would be nice if that sidebar had been retained. Why does the KDE team keep crippling things that people rely on?
how would they know that *you* rely on that feature? file an enhancement request or a bug report. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
