Just upgraded to Firefox 9 on 12.1 x64, and it won't start at all... (8 worked fine) Run from a terminal, I get this: *** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB to enable).
This informal message has nothing to do with it for sure. (Finally I removed that message from Factory versions as it just causes too much confusion). "It won't start at all" also means you get no crash reporter window but just nothing? First try with a new test user or fresh profile to find out if it's the intstallation or your profile. You can also try to run it with firefox -safe-mode to see if it starts up. Please let us know what you find.
