: Hi all,
Probably a very dumb question, but: how can I create/configure a system service such that freenx starts with each boot, on runlevel 3 and 5 ?
I don't believe you need to. As far as I know nx does not require a running daemon (other than sshd which is probably already running)
The nx proxy is started automatically when you log in with nx.
Iirc, Benji is correct. Also, there is a directory full of stuff for NX you may want to be aware of: /usr/share/doc/packages/NX/ I have not used NX in a year or two, so I don't recall the specifics.
