I can't believe this is correct. The entire display runs either on the Nvidia hardware and driver, or runs entirely on Intel hardware and driver.
I don't know technical details, but as far as I know, Gustav is right. General graphical output is done through Intel and only particular selected applications are using Nvidia. Might be for some models it is just limitation of current Bumblebee... At least for many models. Some can switch whole output. Some can set usage permanently in BIOS. Lenovo could be able to do so.
