Wrong analogy. More like you are trying to customise your car with highly selective, experimental parts not meant to be used by regular Joe/Jane (and clearly marked as such). In that case you better know as much details about those parts as possible, including where those parts come from. Indeed if these repositories were meant to be widely used, they would have come preconfigured with openSUSE releases or at least been made easy to add, for example, without making users click on "experimental packages" or "expert download" on the package search interface.
