When i boot suse 7.0 for some strange reason i get the following error on the fsck check:
fsck.ext2 /dev/hdb1 non exisistant or swap device (status 8)
mount -n -o remount,rw /
its some kinda fsck error but i dont know how to fix it, i can log in using command mode then shutdown and reboot avoiding the fsck so that i can log in with the GUI. But i cant fix the error. any help would be cool ..
It's bad to run fsck on mounted drives. Unmount /dev/hdb1 or if that's your root, boot from a floppy, then run e2fsck -p /dev/hdb1 -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
